Job Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in Palm Beach and in Broward Counties to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to caregiving, particularly for those with memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia, as well as the ability to maintain a clean and organized living environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional support.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space.
  • Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse and/or family members.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
  • Assist with care when needed, ensuring dignity and comfort for end-of-life care.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in home care or long-term care settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of memory care techniques including Alzheimer's and dementia care practices are highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform basic cooking tasks while adhering to dietary restrictions if applicable.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to complete medical documentation accurately and timely.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
  • Valid driver's license or reliable transportation
