Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Description
The duties and responsibilities that are expected to be performed by the Direct Support Professional (DSP):
• Conversation & Companionship
• Meal Preparation
• Keep house clean at all time
• Laundry & Linen Washing
• Recreational Activities
• Help residents with activity of daily living
• Mobility- Transferring & Positioning
• Incontinence Care
• Medication Reminders
• Special Diet/Meal Preparation
• Feeding.
• Maintain good communication line and relationship with APD and Support coordinators.
