Are you a strategic leader with a passion for precision and efficiency? One of my clients is seeking an Estimating Manager to provide corporate estimating support across multiple districts. In this role, you'll lead a team of estimators and assistant estimators, ensuring accurate cost projections and resource planning for diverse construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of estimators and assistant estimators.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and determine initial production rates.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to define work requirements.
- Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor bids for fairness and accuracy.
- Coordinate with project managers to maintain schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Estimate material costs and labor hours for all project scopes.
- Develop initial resource requirements and establish preliminary project schedules.
- Implement best practices for cost control and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including contracts, bids, and correspondence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical training and experience.
- 10+ years of experience in estimating, cost control, or engineering, with at least 4 years in estimating for facility construction.
- Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, engineering disciplines, and cost control systems.
- Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate complex projects.

$160,000 - $200,000 base salary (based on experience)
