Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Green Cove Springs, Florida. This contract role spans the current school year, providing critical support by covering a medical leave. The position offers the opportunity to work itinerantly across multiple school sites within the district, delivering specialized therapy services to children across various age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring tailored to students' needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
- Adapt therapy techniques to support a diverse student population within the school environments
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapist license is required
- Skillset focused on school-based occupational therapy practices
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred
- Ability to work itinerantly between multiple school sites effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location:
- On-site position based in Green Cove Springs, Florida; not open to remote or external VOCO applicants
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration: Immediate start through June 1, 2026
