Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant with phlebotomy experience to join our comprehensive healthcare clinic in Fort Pierce. Our clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality primary care, preventive health screenings, chronic disease management, and urgent care services to our diverse community. This is a full-time position, with the selected candidate working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Family Medical Community Center.
As a pillar of the Fort Pierce healthcare community, we are proud to offer accessible and convenient medical care to our patients in Fort Pierce and the surrounding areas of Port St. Lucie and Vero Beach. Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare patients for examinations, assist with in-office procedures, and record vital signs.
• Administer injections and perform basic lab tests as directed by a healthcare provider.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.
• Manage patient appointments, handle phone inquiries, and assist with general office tasks.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting with strong phlebotomy skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software is preferred.
• English and Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred to best serve our patient population.
• A compassionate and professional demeanor is required.
