Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to serve a diverse caseload spanning grades K-12 in a school setting located in Deltona, FL. This contract role begins as soon as possible and extends through the remainder of the current school year. Both full-time and part-time candidates with a passion for supporting students academic and emotional well-being are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to address social-emotional challenges impacting student performance
- Utilize data-driven strategies to support positive student outcomes and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines related to school psychology services
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations, including early childhood through high school grades
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration within an educational setting
- Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload with flexibility to address diverse student needs
