Location: Casselberry, FL
Schedule: Flexible | Up to 40 hours per week
Status: Per Diem with opportunity to scale to Full-Time

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Physical Therapist or PTA license in the State of Florida
• Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification

PT Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function due to injury, disease, or other causes
• Perform examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and physical therapy interventions to achieve optimal functional outcomes
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives
• Re-evaluate patients and modify treatment plans and goals as clinically indicated
• Demonstrate competency in the safe use, care, and maintenance of physical therapy equipment, including providing clear explanations to patients
• Provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan with understanding of growth and development principles
• Assess and interpret patient data to determine age-specific and condition-specific needs
• Deliver care in accordance with clinic policies, procedures, and professional standards
• Recognize and communicate when patients have achieved optimal benefit from physical therapy services
• Adhere to the Florida Physical Therapy Practice Act and Standards of Practice
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and appropriate billing
• Provide patient and family education as indicated
