A leading Florida litigation firm is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its Jacksonville office. The role focuses on defending employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers' compensation claims across the state.

Salary & Benefits:
- Base salary range: $125,000 - $160,000, depending on experience and qualifications

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Florida
- 2+ years of experience handling Florida workers' compensation matters
- Strong understanding of Florida workers' compensation law and procedure
- Excellent research, writing, and case management skills
- Ability to independently handle a caseload and meet deadlines
- Experience with depositions, mediations, and final hearings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Defend employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution
- Conduct depositions of claimants, experts, and medical providers
- Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements
- Represent clients at mediations and final hearings before Judges of Compensation Claims
- Advise clients on case value, exposure, and legal strategy
- Maintain regular communication with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
- Ensure compliance with deadlines and litigation guidelines
