Adecco is Hiring a Production Assemble II for a local client in Longwood, Florida.

Summary

Performs repetitive bench and/or assembly operations to produce electronic assemblies and subassemblies.

II. Principal duties/responsibilities:
Completes assemblies or subassemblies per documentation provided by the engineering department.

  • Solders PCB assemblies using thru hole or SMT (Surface Mount Technology) soldering.

  • Works to approved documentation such as assembly prints, (SOP) Standards Operation Procedures and (WI) Work Instructions.

  • Electrical wiring involves cutting, stripping, soldering, or crimping of wires.

  • Attempts to complete work within budgeted assembly time which may consist of PCB’s, subassemblies, metal chassis, and hardware.

  • Documents time spent on individual jobs on route sheets and timecards.

  • Provides feedback to Production Supervisor regarding problems and issues involved in assigned assembly products or documentation.

  • Has the ability and training to perform one or more of the following: 1.) IPC-A-610 Class 3 soldering, 2.) Build engineering prototype units, 3.) Do system level assembly from schematic drawings.

  • Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

    III. Business related contacts:

    Has internal contact with drafting, engineering, stockroom, and quality control personnel for information and status review on individual production projects.

    IV. Education and/or equivalence in experience requirements:

    Experience:
    Three years recent experience in production and assembly of electronic components, printed circuit boards and surface mount technology. Soldering abilities must meet IPC-A-610 Class 3 or better.

    Knowledge of assembly prints, electronic symbols and parts lists is necessary.

    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to toxic chemicals.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
