Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are needed to support K-12 students in a school near Stuart, Florida. This contract position offers an opportunity to work onsite within a school setting, providing essential support to students with communication needs throughout the school year.
Responsibilities include collaborating with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver therapy services, assisting in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, and monitoring student progress. Candidates should be skilled in working with children in school or pediatric environments and must be available to work during school hours with no weekend commitments.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification, preferably with experience in school or pediatric settings
- Ability to work onsite in Stuart, FL
- Bilingual skills are an asset but not required
- Flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules depending on candidate availability
