Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical-Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent day-shift opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
The Med-Surg Neuro RN provides high-quality nursing care to adult patients recovering from neurological and medical conditions in a patient-centered care environment. This role requires strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to manage patient care autonomously while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect comprehensive data related to the patient’s health status and clinical condition.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses and patient care needs.
• Identify expected outcomes for individualized care plans.
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Deliver efficient, effective care while utilizing time, supplies, and equipment appropriately.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
COMPENSATION
Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)
• $27.72/hour (early experience)
• $34.32/hour (approximately 10 years of experience)
• $39.60/hour (approximately 15+ years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus
• $20,000 sign-on bonus
Relocation Assistance
• Up to $5,000 (case by case)
Requirements:
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the position you are applying for.
• Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to start.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
