Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 School in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position covering the current school year (CSY).
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with educators and parents to support student communication needs
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings as required
Desired qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population in an educational setting
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education and speech therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student goals
