Title: SAP MM Lead - PUR and IM Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 12+ months

Description:

• Lead SAP MM module implementation and support activities, focusing on PUR and IM.
  
• Gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and develop functional specifications.
  
• Configure SAP MM settings for purchasing vendor management, inventory control, and material valuation.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SD, WM, and FI for integrated solutions.
  
• Manage data migration, testing, and cutover activities.
  
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
  
• Drive continuous improvement in SAP MM processes and system performance.
  

Requirements:

• SAP MM (PUR and IM) experience
  
• Proven track record in at least 1-2 full life cycle SAP MM implementations
  
• Expertise in Procurement (Direct/Indirect) and Inventory Management
  
• Industry experience in Chemical and A&D sectors
  
• Strong functional knowledge and communication skills

Qualifications

• The candidate should be aware of the latest trends in this industry as are applicable from a domain and technological perspective
  
• Primary skills: SAP S/4 HANA MM, IM, LEAD with some WM, SAP Certifications, Business Process Analysis and System Design, 3PL (third-party logistics) Scenarios and Warehouse Master Data, Integration and Testing
  
• Minimum 15+ Yrs exp in implementation of SAP S/4 Hana MM , IM and WM, Greenfield implementation projects
  
• Certified S/4 HANA – MM highly preferred
  
• At-least 5 years of SAP related experience within SAP Product and Supply Chain
  
• Strong SAP MM and WM Functional Consultancy and design experience
  
• Has experience of designing end to end SAP Product and Supply Chain - MM and WM solutions
  
• Experience with implementing an S4/HANA multi-tiered SAP environment
  
• A working knowledge of SAP application area, and experience with SAP Activate Methodology
  
• Ability to work with and collaborate with all Teams and Individuals in the Business Teams and the SAP Teams toward developing a best practice processes, quality and efficiencies for the project
  
• Experience in carrying out testing and creating/maintaining test scripts
  
• Experience in 3PL scenarios are mandatory
  
• Experience master data setup for the Warehouses like Warehouse no, Storage types, Storage Section, Storage Bins, Bin types, Storage unit types
  
• Extensive experience with FI/CO integration with other process modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM)
  
• Must be able to work independently and follow through on all aspects of responsibilities, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously
  
• Experience in documentation - Business Requirement Document / UAT document / SIT
  

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
  
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
  
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs
  
• Design, customize, configure and testing of MM and WM modules
  
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
  
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyses, and solve MM/WM related problems
  
• Document to be prepared Business Requirement Document / UAT document / SIT document / End User Manuals / Functional Specification Documents / Configuration Document etc
  
• Has participated in at least 2-3 large information transformation engagements in Product and Supply Chain
