The Service Technician will modify, repair, and improve existing products, equipment, and facilities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Repairs, installs, and inspects products and equipment as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
- Maintains and makes necessary operating adjustments.
- Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs.
- Manages and installs cables and wiring, splicing as needed.
- Creates or adapts parts as needed to make repairs and improve performance of various products and equipment.
- Performs safety checks to ensure design plans are feasible in various conditions.
- Reports potential dangers to supervisor and takes steps to resolve the issue.
- Instructs employees regarding safe working procedures and requirements when working within the facilities and with products and equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Ability to follow highly complex directions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Prior experience working as a Service Technician or other related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift to 40 pounds at times.
- Frequently required to walk; sit; climb; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch and crawl.
