Civil Project Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to oversee and manage engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strong background in civil engineering and a professional engineering license.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
- Develop project plans, specifications, and design documents using Civil 3D and other engineering software.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Review and approve project designs and changes, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- 5+ years of experience in land development.
- Strong knowledge of land development, storm water management, and water distribution systems.
- Experience with sewer and infrastructure projects, particularly roadway and drainage systems.
- Proficient in Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- This position is in-office for 1st year. Hybrid flexibility reviewed at that time.
