Job Description
Join our leading compounding pharmacy as a full-time Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Stuart, Florida. Contribute to delivering premium-quality compounded medications to patients and clinics nationwide while supporting compliance with state and national regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Utilize aseptic technique in the preparation of non-sterile compounded medications.
- Perform data entry related to pharmacy operations.
- Fill and label prescriptions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy standards.
- Maintain pharmacy technician license and certification as required.
- Engage in sterile processing as needed.
Essential Skills
- Registered pharmacy technician in Florida.
- 2+ years' experience as a non-sterile compounding pharmacy technician.
- Experience compounding capsules, nasal sprays, creams, and troches.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PTCB certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite in a sterile environment within a compounding pharmacy. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM. The role involves working in a closed-door pharmacy with no patient interaction, focusing on a team environment where responsibilities include filling at the bench and occasionally answering phones.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
