Job Description

The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is actively recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our growing surgical team. This is a full-time, permanent position located at the Cape Coral VA Outpatient Center in Cape Coral, Florida.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide the full spectrum of vascular surgery services

• Perform open, minimally invasive, and endovascular procedures

• Provide consultation and surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Supervise and educate surgical residents and students during clinical care and procedures

• Manage pre- and post-operative care, including discharge planning and interdisciplinary coordination

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in both open and endovascular surgical techniques

• Commitment to teaching and mentoring residents and students

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment

• Prior experience in a VA or academic health system preferred
