Job DescriptionSalary: $19.00 to $23.00 based on exp
TheFront Desk/ Referral Coordinator is responsible for front desk operations and serving as a critical link between our office and referring providers. This role involves visiting referring doctors' offices to strengthen relationships, enhance communication, and support a seamless referral process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, clients, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Answer multi-line phones, direct calls appropriately, and respond to inquiries.
- Visit referring physicians offices regularly to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for referring providers, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance information as needed.
- Update and maintain patient and referral information in the electronic records system.
- Prepare and deliver marketing materials, updates, or announcements to referring offices when needed.
- Assist with front desk administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
- Represent the practice professionally at all times in the community and with external partners.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 12 years of experience in a front desk, referral coordination, or provider relations role.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and follow-up abilities.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel locally to referring offices (valid driver's license and reliable transportation required).
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
