Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Financial Data Analyst to join our team in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial data and providing critical insights to support decision-making processes. This is a long-term contract position that requires a strong background in financial analysis, particularly within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial data related to construction projects, including percentage of completion and estimated costs to completion.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accountability for contract changes and their impact on project budgets.
• Evaluate and report on cost increases, identifying areas for improvement and maintaining financial accuracy.
• Utilize advanced tools such as ComputerEase, Acumatica, and Microsoft Access for effective data management.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership.
• Perform critical analysis of financial trends, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with executives to provide insights and recommendations on high-visibility projects.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Act as a key resource for financial data integrity and support cross-functional teams.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial data analysis, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in tools such as Acumatica, ComputerEase, Excel, and Access.
• Strong understanding of construction cost analysis and percentage of completion methodologies.
• Advanced expertise in financial reporting and data visualization.
• Solid analytical and critical-thinking skills to evaluate complex financial scenarios.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project managers and executive teams.
• Familiarity with SQL and database management for financial data.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively.
