Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for multiple Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Cape Coral, FL. This role is ideal for educators dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment and promoting the academic and social development of students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning requirements.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure integrated and effective instructional strategies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instructional methods as needed.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Florida teaching certification with certification in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) or Special Education.
- Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
