Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a K-12 school in Sarasota, FL, for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role involves providing speech and language services to students across all grade levels, supporting their communication development and educational progress.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Support students in both individual and group settings
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school setting with K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to student success and continuous professional development
