We are partnered with a company in Sarasota seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pouch Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining pouch sealing and forming machines used in the packaging of products. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, works well independently, and ensures all products meet strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate pouch-making machinery according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper working order
• Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to maintain efficiency and product quality
• Inspect finished pouches for defects and compliance with specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues during production
• Maintain accurate production and quality control records
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience operating packaging machinery or in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work orders, and quality standards
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom or controlled environment

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $19/hour
