Urgently hiring for our client in Plant City for an experienced Production MIG Welder. Are you experienced with welding; thin gauge .045 hard wire in 2 positions? Flat weld & vertical down? If yes, then this is the career for you. Apply today. Scheduling interviews next week.
Working hours are Monday thru Friday 7AM - 3:30PM (when overtime is required hours will be 6AM - 4:30PM)
Pay is based on experience and the Must Have's below: $17-$19 an hour.
MUST HAVES / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
1. Must Have 2 plus years welding experience, Required
2. Formal Training (previous employer) or Schooling (Welding Certificate)
3. Must be able to read blue prints and tape measure
4. Must Have Reliable Transportation
5. Must be able to work Overtime when needed
6. Must be able to pass drug test and background check
8. Must have/own all Welding Gear and PPE gear.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
1. Weld, tack, & fabricate products w/ blueprints as reference
2. Grind & prepare units
3. Refurbish used equipment
4. Cut, grind, weld & replace rusted & damaged steel in used pieces of equipment
5. Material handling when raw material shipments arrive
6. Maintain a clean & neat work station (sweeping, cleaning and preventative maintenance of equipment
7. Follow all safety measures at all times.
Once you are full time with our client they offer: Medical, Vision & Dental Insurance. Don’t need insurance then receive an extra $55.00 each week in your pay. Company paid Life Insurance & short-term disability policy. 401K w/ profit sharing. Flex Spending Account. 1 week of vacation after 1st 90 days from converting to full time with client. 10-paid holidays a year once full time with client
