Sonobond Machine Operator Level 1:

1. Marks the ballistic panel according to work order instructions.
2. Heats the ballistic panel according to work order instructions.
3. Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks.
4. Responsible for taping the ballistic panels when needed.
5. Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
6. Maintains a safe and clean work area.
7. Performs other related duties as required and as assigned.

Qualifications

• Able to understand basic work and safety instructions in English.
• Ability to use metric tape, read and understand metric system.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function for this position.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Requires standing for a prolonged period of time and lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
• Requires repetitive movements with fingers, hands and arms.
• Requires walking and moving in narrow spaces for long periods of time.
• May be required to wear hearing protection when machines are running due to sufficient noise.
