Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment within our facility. Responsibilities
-

Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Install, adjust, and maintain mechanical components such as motors, belts, bearings, and hydraulic systems.
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose equipment using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure that all work is done in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts inventories.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure the smooth operation of equipment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.
  • Support the installation of new equipment as required.
  • HVAC, plumbing & electric experience!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school diploma preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with tools such as wrenches, drills, grinders, and other hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces.
  • Certification in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
