Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language services to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Lake Placid, FL. This contract position for the 2023-2024 school year offers an opportunity to positively impact the communication skills and academic success of school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify students needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor student performance and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience providing speech-language pathology services within schools
- Knowledge of K-12 educational environment and relevant state regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
