Manager of Training and Development to lead our cruise and travel training initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to shape training programs from the ground up and have a direct impact on the performance and growth of our sales team.

Position Overview:
The Manager, Training and Development – Cruise and Travel Product will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs focused on cruise vacation sales. This role requires a strong background in travel sales training, with a deep understanding of the cruise industry, adult learning principles, and e-learning tools.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement onboarding and ongoing training programs for cruise and travel product sales teams

· Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and create tailored training solutions

· Deliver live (virtual and/or in-person) training sessions to sales staff, managers, and new hires

· Build engaging, interactive e-learning modules using tools such as Articulate 360 or similar platforms

· Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to stay up to date on cruise offerings, promotions, and systems

· Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics

· Create and maintain training documentation, manuals, and resources

· Stay informed about cruise industry trends, new cruise products, and best practices in training

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of experience training cruise vacation sales, preferably within a high-volume travel agency or cruise line

· Strong understanding of cruise products, pricing structures, booking systems, and customer lifecycle

· Experience with e-learning development tools (Articulate preferred)

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills

· Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
