Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with deep expertise in HVAC design. This is a leadership-focused position offering the opportunity to guide high-rise and complex MEP projects, manage engineering teams, and drive client strategy. The engineer will play a key role in shaping energy-efficient solutions, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality designs on schedule.
In this role, you will
- Lead HVAC design on large-scale, complex projects
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers
- Conduct energy and system efficiency analyses
- Represent the firm in client meetings and project strategy sessions
- Ensure compliance with codes, sustainability, and industry standards
Requirements
- 9+ years of HVAC design experience (high-rise and VRF systems required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Carrier HAP/Trane Trace, and Energy Gauge
- EIT or PE license highly preferred
- Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field required
- EIT or PE credential preferred
