Position Overview

We take immense pride in our hard-working, detail oriented, and collaborative Installation teams and are looking to add a Lead Install Technician to this rapidly growing department! What you'll do

  • Communicate with the Installation Coordination Team for scheduling and updates
  • Deliver "The SPF Way" to every customer—aiming for 5-star reviews!
  • Collect payments via Swipe Simple or check upon job completion
  • Maintain and organize trucks, tools, materials, and job documentation
  • Travel to different SPF territories as needed
  • Consistently represent SPF's core values: Collaboration, Integrity, Efficiency, Accountability
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • You love working outside
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • You are detail oriented

  • Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Proficient with technology (iPad, CRM software, FaceTime)
  • Have 3 years of clean driving history
  • Preferred experience installing exterior screens and awnings and communicating with homeowners
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
  • Perform scheduled on-site measurements and complete required documentation.
  • Travel as needed to customer locations, arriving on time with all necessary tools and materials.
  • Use FaceTime and other communication tools to coordinate with Production, Management, and QA teams during site visits.
  • Finalize project specifications with the customer, including colors, materials, mounting options, and electrical needs
  • Obtain customer sign-off on finalized plans and serve as the main point of contact through installation.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives when customer expectations require clarification or adjustment.
  • Ensure all project data, photos, and measurements are accurately entered into the CRM.
  • Assist in buildout preparation, working with Warehouse and Production teams to maintain process consistency.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.
