Mobile Staff Solutions is looking to hire an experienced, skilled & reliable candidate for a Metrologist position in Tampa, FL! In this role you will be responsible for planning and execution of all survey work as well as operational responsibilities in creating shop-related work package information. This role will cooperate with multiple departments while supporting overall company objectives.
MUST HAVE:
- • 3 years’ experience in custom steel fabrication
- surveying and calibration skills.
- be able to perform laser measurements.
- dimensional checks with FARO and other survey equipment.
- be able to read drawings
- Maintain all required calibration certificates for equipment
- Lead and cross-train team
- Must have a good knowledge and understanding of all operations, inspections, and equipment involved in the process of material survey
- Must possess strong computer skills including CAD, and MS programs
