Inter-Bay Electric Company, Inc. is looking for an Electrical Estimator/Project Manager. The Electrical Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for financial reporting on a project as well as tracking and projecting of all labor, material, job expenses, and changes. The Electrical Estimator/Project Manager will also participate in monthly financial projections, creation of job specific schedule of values which maintains positive cash flow, and will create, submit, and manage all submittals throughout the entire project. This position requires the successful candidate to possess strong organizational, negotiation, financial, and communication skills.

Project Manager must have a MINIMUM of 5 years’ experience in managing electrical projects and 5 years minimum of bidding/Estimating; EBM/Electrical Bid Manager and Lighting Accubid knowledge helpful. Future ownership possibility available.

Qualified candidate must possess a solid work ethic, self-motivated, strong PC skills, with good communication skills.

  • Negotiate and resolve issues related to Change Orders, Requests for Information, Contract Scope of Work in a timely manner.
  • Manage project budget and participate in monthly review meetings.
  • Track and report on project performance to owners.
  • Proactively identify project risks and solutions.
  • Maintain rapport with vendors and contracted services to ensure customer satisfaction, quality of service and long-term relations.
  • Conducting site walks for quality assurance and project reviews
  • Conduct project evaluations and assessment of results to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage all closeout procedures including documentation, filing record drawings, construction cost database input, follow-up marketing and team debriefing.
  • Drive company profitability through effective project execution.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to manage/run multiple projects as required.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional computer skills; MS 365

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $ 60,000 to $ 85,000
