Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in a variety of commercial settings. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a focus on safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform routine preventative maintenance per scheduled intervals
• Work with building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC control systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Document service findings, repairs, and maintenance records accurately
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in top condition
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred
• EPA Section 608 Certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting skills with HVAC systems, including compressors, motors, fans, thermostats
• Solid understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and HVAC diagnostics
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied environments (rooftops, confined spaces)
