We are currently hiring pharmaceutical machine operators in Davie. Apply in person at 8040 Peters RD, STE H-100, Plantation, FL 33324
- Location: Davie, FL
- Salary: Based on experience
- Schedule: 2nd shift Monday to Thrusday 4:20pm to 2:50am. 40 HRS
***JOB DESCRIPTION***
- Set up the equipment to start production.
- Feed the machine with powder.
- Verify that the capsules are released correctly.
- Control weight variations.
- Recover dust from vacuum cleaners.
- Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.
- Compound or processed ingredients or coloring, depending on formulas.
- Read work orders to determine specifications or production information.
- Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Mix the ingredients by starting the machines and mixing for specified times.
- Fill or supply the machine with raw material powder and capsules as required.
- Fill in all the different batch registration formats, depending on the established time.
- Keep the work area clean.
***QUALIFICATIONS***
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Detail oriented.
- Manufacturing or pharmaceutical/nutraceutical experience preferred.
- Basic math skills.
- Preferably bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing or rolling 50-100 kg drums with assistance.
- Able to use stairs.

- This person will be subjected to bulk food and nutritional ingredients, which may affect the respiratory system or skin, including an environment subject to odors, dust, or airborne allergens.
