A well-established underground utilities construction company in Lakeland, FL is looking to hire a Utility Pipe Foreman. This role is responsible for assisting with the layout, assembly, and installation of various sizes and types of underground pipes, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working in trench environments and will follow directions to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and according to project specifications.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Performs daily inspections of the job sites to ensure a safe working environment
- Conducts tests and inspections on water pressure and sewer systems to ensure they meet standards
- Operates various pieces of equipment as needed to excavate, install and backfill structures with a pipe
- Utilizes a laser level and figures grades to level out projects properly
- Communicates with clients and vendors regarding projects and deadlines
- Coordinates tasks according to priorities and plans
- Installs gravity storm and sewer systems, shoots line, and grades
- Reads and understands blueprints and other technical drawings
- Reviews and approves employee time reporting
Who We’re Looking For
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Proven experience in the underground utility sector
- Knowledge of a Laser Beam and how to use it properly or surveying
- Think and engage as a part of the team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail
What You Can Expect
- $28.00 - 30.00/hr, depending on experience
- Schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm, with early release on Friday
- Uniforms provided
