Now Hiring: Experienced Asphalt Paving Lead - Pay exceeds Industry Standard
Seaton Paving & Sitework Inc. is seeking a motivated, experienced Asphalt Paving Lead to oversee and help manage our asphalt crew. This is a key leadership role responsible for supervising all phases of paving operations from planning through completion.
This is not an entry-level position Asphalt Paving Experience is Required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
(Including but not limited to):
- Operate various paving equipment (pavers, rollers, broom tractor, lute, tack truck)
- Lead and supervise crew members on-site
- Schedule daily field activities and coordinate with subcontractors
- Ensure work is completed on time and to specification
- Analyze equipment and trucking needs
- Maintain accurate project records and daily logs
- Train and instruct crew, maintaining a strong focus on safety
- Implement and enforce all environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Perform and oversee maintenance of all paving equipment
- Recognize potential issues before equipment failure or project delays
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on asphalt paving experience
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of site construction and traffic control standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the field
- Strong communication and team management abilities
- Commitment to safety practices and company procedures
- Valid drivers license required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
