Job DescriptionJob Title: Automotive Service Advisor Location: West Palm Beach, FL Type: Contract-to-Hire Schedule: 100% Onsite Pay Rate: $20-$22 per hour Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in West Palm Beach. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from initial consultation through service completion. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their service needs in a friendly, professional manner
- Prepare accurate repair orders and cost estimates
- Communicate with technicians to relay customer concerns and confirm service details
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding service status and recommendations
- Upsell additional services when appropriate to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and transactions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
