Position Overview:

We are a new law firm specializing in Veteran Disability Appeals, Social Security Disability, and Personal Injury cases. We are seeking a motivated Legal Intake Representative to contact inbound leads and guide veterans through the process of retaining our law firm for appeals before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC). This role focuses on phone-based sales, client education, and converting qualified leads into signed clients while maintaining a respectful, veteran-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Call and follow up with inbound and outbound leads interested in VA and CAVC appeals.
• Educate potential clients on the VA and CAVC appeals processes and the firm's services (without providing legal advice or guidance).
• Qualify leads and assess readiness to retain the firm.
• Overcome objections professionally and confidently.
• Accurately document all interactions in the firm's CRM/case management system.
• Coordinate with legal and intake teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
• Occasionally have follow up phone calls with clients who have already signed up with the firm.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of phone-based sales, intake, or client-facing experience.
• Strong communication and closing skills with a professional phone presence.
• Ability to build trust quickly and handle sensitive conversations.
• Comfortable working call lists, follow-ups, and performance metrics.
• Preferred: experience in legal intake, veterans services, or regulated sales environments.
