Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Radiology Technologist to deliver specialized imaging services within the Operating Room setting at a well-established acute care medical center in the Lake Worth, FL area. This contract role plays a critical part in supporting high census periods, training new graduates, and contributing to the successful implementation of new OR projects.

Situated in the vibrant Lake Worth area of Florida, this facility is part of a leading healthcare complex known for cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and womens health services. The medical center functions as a teaching hospital and is nationally recognized for its quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures including radiography, x-ray, sonography, MRI, and CT scans using advanced medical equipment such as GE Discovery 450 and other modalities.
- Operate independently within the OR to deliver accurate diagnostic images for patient care.
- Assist with orienting and training new radiology staff members.
- Adapt to fluctuating patient volumes and workflow demands during high census periods.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and adhere to dress code by wearing blue scrubs provided for OR staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current BLS certification and Radiologic Technologist certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years hospital experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably with operating room exposure.
- ACLS certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong critical thinking skills, flexibility, and reliability with a willingness to work weekends and night shifts as needed.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
