Job Description
As a Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning, restoring, and protecting the interior and exterior surfaces of boats, cars, and RVs. This position requires someone who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full-service detailing, including washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, shampooing, and interior cleaning
- Apply protective coatings (wax, sealants, ceramic coatings, etc.)
- Clean and restore upholstery, carpets, leather, vinyl, and plastics
- Operate buffers, pressure washers, and other detailing equipment safely and effectively
- Perform boat, RV, and trailer cleaning services, including oxidation removal, compounding, and gel coat polishing
- Maintain detailing supplies, tools, and work areas in clean and organized condition
- Ensure vehicles/vessels are returned to customers in excellent condition
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Harv’s Mobile Detailing professionally at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous detailing experience preferred but not required (training available)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
