Building Engineer
Luxury Condominium – East Boca Raton, FL
A well-established Property Management Company is seeking an experienced Building Engineer to support the General Manager at a 100+ unit, multi-story luxury condominium in East Boca Raton.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, etc.)
- Perform regular building inspections and identify maintenance and safety issues
- Lead and support maintenance staff with hands-on leadership
- Coordinate vendors, obtain bids, and ensure quality workmanship
- Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs
- Assist with budgeting, capital planning, and documentation
- Communicate professionally with management, Board members, residents, and staff
- Respond to building emergencies when necessary
Qualifications
- 5+ years of building engineering or maintenance experience (luxury residential or high-rise preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Trade licenses or technical certifications a plus
Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Ability to perform hands-on work, lift up to 50 lbs., and climb ladders
- Flexible schedule including occasional evenings, weekends, or emergencies
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience
- Benefits package including health insurance, 401k, and paid time off
