We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Receptionist / Intake Coordinator to support a fast-paced legal services environment. This role is the first point of contact for clients and plays a critical role in managing a high-volume intake pipeline, assisting walk-in clients, and directing individuals to the appropriate legal staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients in person and by phone in both English and Spanish
- Manage a busy client intake process, collecting initial information accurately and efficiently
- Direct walk-in clients to the appropriate attorney, paralegal, or department
- Schedule appointments and maintain organized intake logs and records
- Answer high-volume calls with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain front desk operations and ensure a welcoming, orderly environment
- Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure smooth client flow
- Perform general administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Prior receptionist, intake, or customer service experience (legal or social services preferred)
- Ability to manage high call volume and walk-ins simultaneously
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor with a client-focused mindset
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and office software
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a legal services, nonprofit, or public-facing office
- Familiarity with client intake or case management systems
- Experience working with diverse populations
