Medical Assistant – Dermatology (Full-Time, M–F 9–5)

SpotDoc is the first skin cancer–specific dermatology practice in The Villages, FL. We combine cutting-edge technology with patient-centered care to detect and treat skin cancers early. We’re looking for an energetic, team-oriented Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced clinic.
Responsibilities

Room and prepare patients for exams and procedures

Assist providers with biopsies, excisions, and Mohs surgery

Support sterile setup, wound care, and specimen handling
-
Document visits and procedures in ModMed (EMA)
-
Perform administrative duties (scheduling, patient flow, chart prep)

Deliver excellent patient communication and education
Qualifications
-
Medical Assistant certification or experience preferred (dermatology experience a plus, but not required)

Comfort with EMRs, ModMed experience strongly preferred

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Positive, team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn
