About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Technician to join our maintenance team. The Kitchen Technician will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of all kitchen equipment to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on kitchen appliances and equipment (ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, fryers, etc.).

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.

• Coordinate with supervisors and kitchen staff to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment service.

• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Assist in emergency repairs and respond promptly to maintenance requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems related to kitchen equipment.

• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces if needed.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or training in HVAC, electrical, or appliance repair is a plus.

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, or hotel industry preferred.
