Position Overview:
The Salon Receptionist is responsible for creating a smooth guest experience. You’ll be the first and last point of contact for every client, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and well taken care of.
Key Responsibilities:

Reception & Client Care: Greet all guests warmly upon arrival, check them in, and notify their assigned technician.

Booking & Scheduling: Manage appointments through our salon software, including phone bookings, online requests, and reschedules.

Payment Processing: Handle transactions using our POS system, including cash, card, and gift card sales.

Phone & Communication: Answer phones promptly, address client questions, and redirect calls as necessary.

Reception Area Upkeep: Keep the front desk, waiting area, and retail displays tidy and stocked.

Beverage Service: Offer and serve water, tea, or coffee to clients as part of the hospitality experience.

Product Maintenance: Return polish bottles and retail products to their designated cases after use.

Flow Management: Walk clients to their technician’s station and ensure service transitions are seamless.

Stocking & Supplies: Refill reception supplies (beverages, cups, retail bags, etc.) as needed.
Qualifications:

Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred; salon or spa background a plus.

Comfortable using booking software and POS systems (training provided).

Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with our salon’s calm, clean brand.

Excellent verbal communication skills and phone etiquette.

Reliability and punctuality are essential.
