Job Summary: The High Voltage Electrical Project Foreman is responsible for overseeing and executing high-voltage electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance across high-end residential properties and select commercial projects. This role provides hands-on leadership to field electricians, ensures work is performed to code and project specifications, and maintains the highest standards of safety, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor electrical crews on high-voltage systems, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Coordinate day-to-day field operations, including material planning, scheduling, and task delegation.
- Oversee installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems, including:
- Service upgrades
- Subpanels and distribution equipment
- Backup power systems (generators, ATS)
- Specialty lighting and integrated home systems (for luxury residential)
- Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, local codes, and project engineering documents.
- Maintain strict safety protocols, lead jobsite safety meetings, and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Communicate progress, issues, and change orders with project managers, general contractors, homeowners, and subcontractors.
- Read, interpret, and markup blueprints, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship expected in high-end environments.
- Track labor hours, materials, and equipment usage to support project scheduling and cost control.
- Assist in resolving complex electrical problems and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Represent the company professionally on job sites, maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners.
- Follow safety procedures and keep the job site clean, organized, and hazard-free, including thorough clean-up at the end of each project and workday.
- Promote and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State-licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (or equivalent certifications) preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of high-voltage electrical experience; 3+ years in a foreman or supervisory role preferred.
- Proven experience working on luxury residential projects, estates, or custom home builds; commercial experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of high-voltage distribution systems, grounding practices, and fault protection.
- Read and interpret electrical engineering documents and construction drawings.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Safety first mindset.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements.
- Bilingual is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and roofs.
- Stand, walk, or remain seated at a desk for extended periods.
- Move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
- Observe details at close range.
- Handle products, take notes, operate technology, and present information.
- Read documents and presentations using electronic devices and hard copy materials while interacting with others.
- Exchange accurate information in person, over the phone, in writing, and electronically.
- Communicate clearly and articulately for presentations and interpersonal interactions so others will understand.
- May be exposed to loud noise.
- Drive to work, client sites, and as business needs require.
- Navigate uneven or slippery surfaces or both.
- Safely ascend and descend stairs and ladders as needed.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
- Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery.
Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt
Work/Base Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Core Work Hours/Availability: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Monday through Friday
Travel: 30 – 50% (primarily Central and South Florida)

Pay Range: $35 – 40/hour
