This role involves cutting and sewing fabric for custom-made furniture pieces. You will work closely with our upholsterers to ensure every project is completed to the highest standard of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Cut fabric accurately according to patterns, templates, and measurements.

• Sew fabric pieces for furniture upholstery using industrial sewing machines.

• Collaborate closely with upholsterers to align sewing work with furniture assembly.

• Handle custom and one-of-a-kind projects with attention to detail.

• Maintain organization and efficiency in the sewing and fabric-cutting area.

• Inspect finished work to ensure precision and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in upholstery sewing, furniture sewing, or related field.

• Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines.

• Ability to read patterns, drawings, or templates for custom work.

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

• Ability to work collaboratively with upholsterers and other team members.

• Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred

• Experience with a variety of fabrics, leathers, and textiles.

• Knowledge of furniture manufacturing or upholstery processes.
