Salary range
$80,000 - $100,000

Position Summary

Our client’s Real Estate-Construction Team is seeking a skilled Construction Litigation Paralegal to provide critical support on complex litigation matters before Florida’s federal and state courts. This role requires an organized and collaborative professional who can deliver consistently high standards of service. Digital litigation management and hands-on trial experience are essential. The successful candidate will thrive in a team environment, demonstrate a proactive approach, and show flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet case deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with attorneys to prepare for all stages of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, hearings, arbitration, mediation, and trial proceedings

Diligently track court dockets and ensure strict compliance with all deadlines, orders, and procedural requirements at the federal, state, and local levels

Coordinate the organized and timely exchange of exhibits and case materials with all involved parties

Conduct thorough factual investigations, draft detailed case chronologies, identify and locate witnesses, and gather supporting documentation on case-critical issues

Review and analyze case evidence, extracting and distilling the key information necessary to support legal arguments

Create clear, well-organized case materials—such as summaries, timelines, charts, and logs—to support litigation strategy, and input data into relevant databases and platforms for ease of access and reporting



RequirementsRequirements

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a sharp eye for detail

  • Dedicated to delivering outstanding service to internal and external clients

  • Clear and confident communicator, both in writing and in person

  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume work setting

  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Windows 10, Office 365, and Adobe Pro; experience with Filesite is advantageous

  • Hands-on expertise using litigation support software such as Concordance, Relativity, Opus 2, or Live Note

Education & Professional Background

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred

  • Formal paralegal certification is required

  • At least five years of litigation paralegal experience within a mid-sized or large law firm

  • Demonstrated background handling electronic discovery (eDiscovery) processes is essential

Technical Proficiency

  • Comfortable navigating Windows-based platforms and utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at a high level
