Plant General Manager

Excellent opportunity for bright, motivated leader with Food Manufacturing experience to join growing firm.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or similar strongly preferred.
10 years’ experience working in manufacturing environment.
Food Production experience.
5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
Knowledge of 5S, Kaizan, or other Lean Manufacturing processes.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, preferred.

YOUR ROLE IN THE COMPANY:

Manage production facility to meet business and production goals within budget,
Manage Facility, equipment, and building maintenance
Create and maintain an environment where employees are motivated to perform at their highest level.
Participate in the hiring process and provide resources to help employees achieve their highest potential.
Ensure that health, safety, and sanitation regulations are met
Review and improve processes to maximize productivity and reduce waste
Oversee scheduling/planning to ensure the most effective and efficient production schedule.
Collect data and set benchmarks to analyze productivity and provide comprehensive reporting to Executive Management.
Operate and maintain an organized, cost-effective operation, utilizing resources in an effective and efficient manner to maximize success
