Position : Mid-level Corporate Associate Attorney
Location: Coral Gables, FL
Job Type: Full-Time

A first-class boutique law firm in Coral Gables is seeking a full-time Mid-level Corporate Associate Attorney to join its team. This is a challenging and fast-paced environment offering an incredible opportunity to work on a strategic mix of Litigation and Transactional matters.

Summary of Responsibilities

The Associate will handle various corporate finance, corporate transactional, and corporate litigation matters, including:

• Assisting senior attorneys with legal research and drafting legal documents.

• Drafting pleadings.

• Drafting various types of contracts, such as operating agreements, buy/sell agreements, services agreements, employment handbooks, and related employment documents.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.

• Licensure: Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing and licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.

• Experience: 4+ years of Litigation and/or Transactional experience, preferably in corporate and employment matters.

• Legal Knowledge: Knowledge of Federal and Florida law, particularly in:

  • Civil procedure

  • Employment law

  • Corporate law

• Skills: Strong drafting and researching skills.

• Technical Proficiency: Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Lexis Nexis.

Preferred Qualification

• Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $150,000 to $180,000 (Market salary commensurate with experience).

• Bonuses: Discretionary bonuses dependent on performance and billable hours.
