- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient intake efficiently to optimize clinic flow.
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details, to maintain accurate records.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and manage medical data accurately.
- Support the team by performing administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Basic qualifications
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to facilitate effective communication in a clinical setting.
Preferred qualifications
- 2 years of experience in family medicine or internal medicine settings.
- Familiarity with ICD coding
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
